Waiting on Wednesday - September 21, 2011

 Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly blog post by Jill over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights releases we're eagerly awaiting.

There are so many that I am waiting for ... not entirely patiently ... but here is one that stuck out to me this week:

A girl fakes her own suicide to escape from the strict confines of her aristocratic family and a likely arranged marriage, only to be confronted with the harsh realities of living in the slums with the working class and the ultimate discovery that the boy she’s fallen in love with is plotting a rebellion to destroy her family.


I like the degrees to the story that this seems to be about: a class warfare type of deal with intrigue  and the question: Who would fake their own death? Must read!

    Woah, I haven't heard of this one before but it sounds awesome! A fake suicide? That's not something you read everyday. And the cover is gorgeous! Great pick :)
